State Police Continue Operation Everett Turnpike Protection

State troopers conducted a second week of high visibility patrols last week on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua.

While the focus was on speed and aggressive driving 100 vehicles were stopped for various violations.

There were three arrests on charges ranging from driving without a valid license and misuse of plates to speeding, aggravated DUI and bench warrants.

State Police said the enforcement effort will continue into the spring.
