Portsmouth Exploring Car-Sharing Service

A city committee voted to explore whether Portsmouth should launch a ‘car-sharing operation’ in the popular tourist community.

The city’s Parking Traffic and Safety Committee voted unanimously Thursday morning to ‘request staff to report back on alternatives, feasibility and opportunities for a car-sharing program in the city,’ such as Zipcar.
